We recently gave you 3 things to consider when you’re just getting started. It takes a while to master these things (don’t worry, some businesses never quite “master” them), but once you get your feet off the ground, it’s time to start growing your business. The best way to do that? Offer more services!
Many of our partners start out with a cryotherapy unit, but slowly begin adding other modalities in order to meet the needs of their clients. If you’re still trying to decide which services are right for you, consider these things:
- Your clientele. Who are you seeing come in and out of your space every day? Are you helping weekend warriors recover, or are you helping train pro athletes?
- Your clients’ needs. This should trump all other factors when making decisions for your business. What are your clients coming to you for? If they’re coming to treat chronic pain or relieve soreness, you may want to invest in more modalities, such as NovoTHOR. However, if your clients are coming to you solely for cryotherapy, consider spot cryotherapy, or slowly begin introducing new modalities once you’ve gained their trust.
- Your location. It’s simple; can your location house more therapy systems? If you’re running low on space, consider offering NORMATEC (compression recovery device), the Hyperice Vyper Enhanced Roller, or Hypersphere Vibrating Ball. These are all very effective, but will not require as much space as larger therapy systems will.
- The type of business you want to be. What are your goals? If you’re looking to provide your clients with plenty of recovery options and help them improve their lives, begin slowly investing in any of our services. However, if you’re simply looking to add a few options to your gym or physical therapy office, find which will work best for your clients.
- Your capabilities. Recovery systems are a big investment. If you’re simply not ready to expand, we get that. It’s important to use what you already have in order to establish a solid clientele and get to the point of being able to afford more.
However you decide to move forward, we would love to help. If you don’t already have a good way to get in touch with one of us, fill out our contact form and we’ll be happy to reach out.
