lex Thornton is an Olympic Weightlifter and even though she is only 14, she is a 2x National Youth Champion, 2x National Youth Best Lifter, and holds multiple state and national records, and is a 15U member of Team USA. She is the one of the youngest lifters to ever qualify and compete in the American Open, doing so at the age of 12. Alex's story of recovery is just beginning as she looks to CryoUSA to help take her recovery and performance to the next level in the coming years.
Brodie began playing Ultimate Frisbee at the University of Florida as a freshman in 2006. His team won the National Championship in 2006 and then again in 2010. He would then go on to win a National Championship with Austin Doublewide in 2012 and with Denver Bravo in 2014. Brodie also has 3 Guinness World Records and millions of views on his YouTube channel.
Audra comes from an elite gymnastics background and was a state competitor in the pole vault before discovering CrossFit in 2010. She has been a part of the Crossfit Dallas Central team that has placed 7th and 10th at The Crossfit Games in 2012 and 2013. In her first competition competing as an individual, she won the 2013 All Cities Open and now sets her sights on the South Central Regional and The CrossFit Games. She competes for CrossFit Big D. Audra has a double major from Texas A&M in Business Management and Marketing, with a minor in International Business.
Mel is a Crossfit Coach and an Olympic lifting coach at Crossfit Deep and she recovers at CryoUSA!
Mel first found Crossfit in 2008 and it was a turning point for her entire life. She had been battling eating disorders since she was 13 years old and had been diagnosed with several auto immune diseases that should have hindered her life. Fast forward to present date and Mel has found her passion as an Olympic Weightlifter and is one of the healthiest sick people her doctors treat. Mel is the 2013 Masters National Champion and has earned one of 8 spots to represent the US in the World Master Games in Italy.

Jason Sampson has worked his way up to 10-1 as a professional, utilizing his strong grappling background and quickly developing striking game to confound his opponents. Sampson already has a next step in mind. "When I was a kid and I first started watching the UFC, I used to tell my dad I was going to be there one day.” He is well on his way to realizing his dream as he recently had his second win with Bellator Fighting Championships, one of the top fighting organizations in the world. Cryousa is proud to play a part in helping Jason maximize his grueling training and fight schedule.
Dawn Grunnagle is a professional track and field athlete currently competing for Nike.
Dawn is training for distances from 1500m through the Half Marathon. Dawn was recently the 2013 Patriot Half Marathon Champion, 2013 City Stadium 5K Champion, 2013 Miami Half Marathon Champion, 2013 Dallas All-State 13.1 Champion and the 2013 Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot Champion. Dawn is the Program Founder for SpeedKidz~a speed & agility program which focuses on young athletes using correct running form and proper biomechanics through running drills, plyometric exercises, dynamic flexibility techniques and speed/agility drills. She also coaches an all girls team called SpeedKIDZ Elite.

Chase has a double major from SMU in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics and was captain of the 2006 Men's Swim Team. He has 10 years of triathlon & swimming coaching experience. During his year off of competition for shoulder surgery Chase (aka Captain America) coached the CrossFit Dallas Central team to a 7th place finish at The Crossfit Games.
