The most rugged of athletes are joining together in a DefenseTV series to compete in events that test them physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. This TV series follows 5 teams of U.S. Army soldiers as they work toward being named BOSS Strong.
BOSS, also known as Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers, is an army program designed to give U.S. Army Soldiers a unique opportunity to compete in various activities at Army garrisons around the world.
According to their website,
The mission of the BOSS program is to enhance the morale and welfare of single Soldiers, increase retention and sustain combat readiness. BOSS is the collective voice of single Soldiers through the chain of command, which serves as a tool for commanders to gauge the morale of single Soldiers regarding quality of life issues. Additionally, BOSS also sponsors a variety of activities before, during and after deployment to maintain the morale of single Soldiers affected by increased operational tempo and deployment stress.
These are some of the best of the best. They’re fighters, they’re supporters, they’re leaders… they’re soldiers. And they don’t mess around when it comes to their recovery.
We provided a recovery room with all our modalities for 2 weeks at Fort Sam Houston for this project and we love seeing these soldiers recover just as strong as they fight.
Catch BOSS Strong on DefenseTV. We’re pumped to see these soldiers compete for the title of BOSS Strong, and we’re cheering them all on from our own recovery rooms. Want the same recovery for your own athletes? Check out our modalities here.
